Everyone's Brick Wall

On my stats box at this blog, I can see which of my posts gets hit the most.  That post is on Hannah (Holman) Spears.  Almost daily someone sees this posting via a google search.  I've lost count at how many times it has been hit.  Evidently, she's everybody's girl (with apologies to Kander and Ebb).

County Antrim in my Mailbox There are, no doubt, some great aspects to doing genealogy online via the Internet. One aspect is that you needn't necessarily have to travel to places in order to access documents. You still need to pay some money to get the "good" stuff, but that amount is generally far less than a plane ticket and hotel stay. For example: I have been researching my ancestors Finley Sinclair and Martha Lawrence who were born in County Antrim and migrated to New Brunswick, Canada in the 1820s. Having placed him in Dunluce, I did some searching for a Lawrence family in Dunluce...

Treasure Hunt I think part of my love of genealogy is the treasure hunt aspect of research. The chart of my Lawrence ancestors was assembled in October 1908 by Major George H. Lawrence from old wills, family Bibles, and information supplied by various members of the branch.
