A Life in Marble
I was on vacation for the last few weeks in Maine. While there I went to a few cemeteries to snap some pictures. Here's a great gravestone that includes a maiden name, married name, and places of birth and death. It is from the Southside Cemetery in Skowhegan, Maine.

I've made the trip to my grandfather's house in Skowhegan somewhere in the hundreds of times since I was born. The house now belongs to my parents. Along Route 201 in Fairfield is a small cemetery, not unlike the thousands of small cemeteries in New England. On this trip, I finally stopped and looked around and took a few photos.
