Triplets

In my current indexing project, I get to read the entire run of The American Genealogist from 1931 to date.  There are certain genealogical gems in this journal that defy a subject index.  One such thing is a list of triplets born in Connecticut listed in various vital records there from 1699-1774.  There are 23 separate listings with parents at TAG 25:57.

Deeding For Life Support I discussed this event here, but didn't explain it. In terms of genealogy, deeding for life generally sucks. It means there is no will or other probate papers for a person. It was the custom to give monetary or other gifts to your children during your lifetime and then deed all your land to one child who in return would support you in your old age.
