They were married on 26 January 1885 in Leavenworth County, Kansas, and were therefore together for 56 years before her death. Note that he died roughly six months later.

They were married on 26 January 1885 in Leavenworth County, Kansas, and were therefore together for 56 years before her death. Note that he died roughly six months later.
I came across your photo of the Clark headstone and wanted to let you know that I am also a great-grandchild of this couple. Their eldest son, Chester, was my grandfather who came to live in Louisiana, where I am now.
