Follow Friday: Slovakia Genealogy Research Strategies

This wonderful resource is the product of Bill Tarkulich.  The web page is easily navigated with main topics via clickable titles at the top.  I particularly like the coverage of the various censuses.  The site favors Eastern Slovaks, which doesn't particularly help me, but the toolbox section and maps help anyone and everyone.  His church section again favors heavily the Greek Catholics, but if you're researching that, it's a gold mine.  There is also a handy reference to the holdings of the Family History Library for ordering microfilm to further your research.  All in all, this a strong site and one that should be bookmarked for anyone conducting Slovak genealogy.
