Tombstone Tuesday: James M. and Elizabeth (Hall) Carmon
The Falls Cemetery in Cleveland Co., Oklahoma. Thanks to Jan Fendley for her efforts in taking these photos for Findagrave.com. These are two of Michael's great-grandparents. Elizabeth's maiden name is Hall.
I almost lost my breath for a moment. I had commented on the Archibald blog you made just a few moments ago. I was browsing through some of your others when I came across this one, in particular. I found documentation that when my great great grandfather come to America in 1879, he married a Mary Caroline Hall. Her mother and father were Elizabeth Bacon Hall and Charles Hall, respectively. Mary had 10 children, one of whom she named after her mother, Elizabeth, and she was born in 1866. I thought for a moment that we had the same relatives, and although some of the names match up, our dates do not. However, I can't help but find the coincidence our ancestry of Archibald and Hall, intriguing. I only browsed a few of your blogs, but I may have read it incorrectly and you are an Archibald descendant and Michael (? not sure who that is) is a descendant of Hall? I'm confused. haha

Two different families. The Halls and Archibalds are not related.
