This is the maiden name of one of my great-grandmothers. No one has done any research on this family that originated in the Tay Valley of Scotland. Whenever I google names, I only see my own research. My late cousin, Dorothy (Kinmond) Lachance (1923-2005) also conducted research and we would both laugh when we would get momentarily excited at seeing the name Kinmond only to find out it was one of us!
Again, if this were U.S. genealogy, there would already be a compiled genealogy regarding this family. I've already posted about my search for the ending of my line, one Andrew Kinmond, my great4 grandfather. I also noted the suicide of Isabella Fiddler Kinmond (over a failed love--perfect for tomorrow's Valentine's Day--remember love stinks).
This family moves to Westbrook, Maine and I have published many of their gravestones on this blog and created memorials for them on Findagrave.
