Some people are going through their surnames via an ancestor table methodology. I just started with the letter A. I'm only posting on names for families after the year 1600, leaving out all medieval names.
There were two Arnolds: John and Samuel.
There were two Archibald families: one in Nova Scotia and the other in Scotland.
There were three Allen families: Hope, Charles, and Samuel.
There was John Atkinson last week and there was the Alcock family also.
I've also mentioned the names Antrobus, Agmondesham, and Allgar. Then there's a slew of medieval names beginning with A.
