1. Thomas Lakin was born about 1570 and died after February 1632/3 at Ruddington, Nottingham, England. He married a woman whose name is not known. He had two children: William and a possibly a daughter who married Richard Blood.
2. William Lakin was born about 1595 and was buried at Ruddington, England 22 April 1633. He married about 1622, Mary (---) who died at Groton, Massachusetts on 14 August 1669. She married secondly at Nottingham, England 22 July 1637, William Martin born say 1596 and died Groton, Massachusetts 26 March 1672. William had two sons, both of whom came to New England, William and John. William (Jr.) married Lydia Browne, daughter of Abraham and Lydia (---) Browne.
3. John Lakin, was baptized 1 November 1628 at Ruddington, England and died 21 March 1697/8 at Groton, Massachusetts. He married about 1656, Mary Bacon, born about 1635 at Woburn, Massachusetts and died after 1701, daughter of Michael and Mary (---) Bacon. John and Mary had nine children: Mary, John, Sarah, William, Abigail, Joseph, Benjamin, Josiah, and Lydia.
4. Sarah Lakin was born 4 February 1661/2 at Groton, Massachusetts and died 15 March 1740 at Grafton, Massachusetts. She married Benjamin Willard born about 1665 at Lancaster, Massachusetts and died 16 June 1732 at Grafton, Massachusetts, son of Simon and Mary (Dunster?) Willard.
