1. Matthew Taylor was born about 1690 in Ireland and died 26 January 1770 at Londonderry, New Hampshire. He married about 1720, Janet Wilson who died after 22 January 1770. Matthew's will is at New Hampshire State Papers 39:354-55. He had eight children: John, Eleanor, Matthew, William, Janet, David, Adam, and Samuel.
2. Eleanor Taylor was born about 1724 at Londonderry, New Hampshire and died 1 May 1781 at Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada. She married in 1743 at Londonderry, Samuel Archibald, born about 1719 at Ireland and died 15 July 1774 at Truro, Nova Scotia, son of John and Margaret (---) Archibald. They were in Nova Scotia by 1770 when enumerated in the census that year. They had twelve children: Margaret, Matthew Taylor, John, Janet, David, James, Robert, Samuel, Agnes, Elizabeth, Martha, and Eleanor.
