1. Stephen Upson was born about 1612 and died sometime about 1638 and certainly before 1639 when his wife remarries. He married about 1636, Elizabeth (---) who died 8 November 1688 at Sudbury, Massachusetts. Elizabeth remarried secondly to Hugh Griffin in 1639 and then again thirdly to Philemon Whale on 9 November 1657 at Sudbury. Philemon died 22 February 1675/6 at Sudbury. Stephen was a sawyer and came to New England in 1635 on the Increase. Stephen and Elizabeth had but one child: Hannah.
2. Hannah Upson was born about 1637 and died 18 May 1708 at Sudbury, Massachusetts. She married on 18 June 1659 at Sudbury, Edward Wright, born about 1635, died 7 August 1703 at Sudbury, son of the widow Dorothy Wright. Hannah and Edward had nine children: Hannah, Dorothy, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth, Samuel, Abigail, Edward, and Martha.
