In my ongoing efforts in the ancestry of Mary Chamberlain Wallace 1814-1866, wife of Luther Hale Pinhkam, and probable daughter of Joseph and Rebecca (York) Wallace, I stumbled across this posting I made in 2001. It is like a prototype for Monday Madness but posted long before this type of blogging existed. First I was struck by the fact that I've been pursuing this for such a long time. I certainly know more than I did then. However, the mystery of Edwin Nathaniel or Nathaniel Edwin has never been solved. I'm not sure the initial poster ever contacted me regarding this. I certainly don't remember any interaction or conversation (and nothing is my files). There is now one error in the posting. I wrote that when Charles Luther Pinkham died in 1903, his obituary listed that he was survived by one brother. I now know he was survived by two, the other being Seth Taylor Pinkham 1852-1919 whose death record I finally found in Tewksbury, Mass. [Massachusetts Death Records for 1919, 101:344]. So, this just adds to the muddle of information and discrepancies.
