The Cloisters II

I couldn't pass up this medieval genealogy of Jesus Christ.  It is over six feet long so I could only capture part of it through the protective glass.  The part I caught is around King David.

The Cloisters One other place we went on our trip was to The Cloisters. This is a part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art that is in the northwestern tip of Manhattan on land once owned by John D. Rockefeller. It houses the Met's medieval collection. So we did the Duke Ellington thing and took the A train uptown to 190th Street. It is so worth the trip. You walk through beautiful Fort Tryon Park and then see the museum. Hard Drive Crash Lessons I constantly back up my stuff. In fact, we had quite the system here.
