I have previously written about the Kinmonds here and here.
1. Andrew Kinmond born about 1786 and died between 1829 and 1841. He married 8 May 1813 at Liff Benvie, Invergowrie, Scotland, Elizabeth Kidd, born there 21 March 1790 and died 11 August 1857 at Aberdeen, Scotland, daughter of George and Christian (Elder) Kidd. Andrew is likely the same man baptized on 1 June 1778 at Coupar Angus, son of James and Jean (Mitchell) Kinmond. If so, he is the grandson of Hugh and Mary (Bruce) Kinmond. Andrew was a merchant and toll keeper. Andrew and Elizabeth have nine children: John, Jean, George, Isabel, David Rollo, William, Joseph, Robert Ross, and Betsey Ross.
2. John Kinmond was born 24 February 1814 at Liff Benvie, Invergowrie, Scotland and died 6 March 1850 at Aberdeen, Scotland. He married 19 February 1837 at Arbroath, Scotland, Marjory Milne, born there 24 June 1817 and died Westbrook, Maine 19 April 1891, daughter of Alexander and Anne (Fiddler) Milne. John was a fireman and brewer. John and Marjory had five children: Elizabeth Milne, Euphemia Lyon, George Taylor, Ernest Fiddler, and Isabella Fiddler. Of theses, the three youngest came to the United States.
3. Ernest Fiddler Kinmond was born 24 April 1845 at Aberdeen, Scotland and died 17 September 1904 at Westbrook, Maine. He married at Brechin, Scotland on 29 May 1868, Catherine Baxter Young, born at Brechin 9 July 1844 and died 23 February 1931 at Westbrook, Maine, daughter of James and Anne (Archibald) Young. Ernest was house painter and journeyman. Ernest and Catherine had eight children: Ann, John, Betsy, Jane Coutts, Ernest Fiddler (Jr.), James Young, Isabella Fiddler, and Kate.
4. Kate Kinmond was born 5 January 1885 at Carsebarracks, Scotland and died 20 December 1918 at Westbrook, Maine during the great influenza epidemic. She married at Westbrook 10 October 1903, Burt Hale Pinkham, born Dover, New Hampshire 25 December 1881 and died 15 October 1950 at Westbrook, Maine, son of George Hale and Olive Ann (Hurd) Pinkham. Burt was a paper mill worker. Kate and Burt had three sons: Roland Hale, Raymond Henry, and Clarence Melvin.
