1. George Snell born about 1640, died March 1707/8 at Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He married about 1663, Hannah Alcock, born about 1640 at York, Maine and died before 1681 at Portsmouth, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Wrightman) Alcock. George then married several widows in a row: Agnes Cowell, Richord Hunking and Hannah (Ferniside) Hull who survived him and is mentioned in his will [which is at N.H. State Papers 31:551]. George was a mariner and captain. George and Hannah (Alcock) had five children: Samuel, John, Mary, Hannah, and Abiel.
2. John Snell born about 1667 at Portsmouth, New Hampshire, died before 3 September 1718 at Portsmouth. He married about 1695, Elizabeth Hull, born 9 September 1673 at Boston, Massachusetts and died after 1726, daughter of Reuben and Hannah (Ferniside) Hull. [and consequently the stepsister of John]. John was a cooper. Administration to his estate is in the N.H. State Papers 32:73. John and Elizabeth had four children: George, Jane, Elizabeth, and Reuben.
3. Jane Snell was born 28 January 1696/7 at Portsmouth, New Hampshire and died after 1766 at Rochester, New Hampshire. She married first on 4 May 1717 at Portsmouth, Tristram Heard (Jr.), born 26 March 1695 at Dover, New Hampshire, died there 31 August 1723, son of Tristram and Abigail (---) Heard. Jane married secondly about 1724, Benjamin Hayes, born 6 September 1700 at Dover, New Hampshire and died 16 May 1756 at Rochester, New Hampshire, son of John and Mary (Horne) Hayes. By her first Heard husband, Jane had four children: John, Jane, Reuben, and Tristram. By her second Hayes husband, Jane had nine more children: Benjamin, Abigail, George, Elizabeth, Hannah, Dodovah, George, Elizabeth, and Hannah.
